My Story

I have spent the last 20 years as a wedding planner and absolutely love my job. If you ask any of my brides, they will all say that I always have a cup of tea nearby. Tea has been my love language for a very long time.

What I did not know was how the tea experience would also allow for healing. In 2005 my sweet Dad passed away very suddenly and for the first time in my entire life I experienced a very deep depression.  Something about brewing my tea every single day, sipping slowly and reading books about the ritual of having tea was healing.  Turns out I think the process of having my tea gave me the quiet time I needed to pray, get my mind clear and give myself the grace I needed to find my new "normal" without my Dad.

I began bringing my brides' tea to help them stay relaxed and calm and before I knew it I had branded myself as the planner who always had tea in my hand.

Tea and Time is much more than just a tea company. I love to share my passion for tea with everyone!  It is my way of giving the gift of “time” that we all so desperately need in very stressful seasons of life. The tea experience allows us the ability to heal our souls, take time for self love and protect our mental health. We can quiet the noise in our minds for just a moment while sharing a cuppa tea.
