Tea Table Nachos

Whether you’re feeding a crowd of hungry football fans or enjoying a cozy moment at your tea table, nachos are always a great gamey comfort food and I wanted to see if I can put my “tea obsession” spin on this and serve it as a savory! This is just a classic nacho recipe that you can add really anything you would like to it to make it your own. Who says comfort food can’t be pretty and classy?

I made some good ole comfort food nachos for Super Bowl Sunday and I just had to put my girly spin on them and work into a tea menu! This is a super simple recipe with a pretty and classy tea table presentation! Who says comfort food can't be classy!

Ingredients

Tea Table Nachos
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 bag of your favorite nacho chips
  • 1 can refried beans (or your favorite beans you would like to use)
  • 2 diced fresh tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green onions (I only used the green top part)
  • sliced black olives
  • Fresh cilantro
  • A dollop of sour cream
  • Queso, cheese wiz or your favorite cheese sauce
  • pico de Gallo or salsa

Instructions

Tea Table Nachos
  1. Brown your ground beef and drain all the excess fat
  2. Add your packet of taco seasoning with the water
  3. Mix together and simmer until thickened - set aside
  4. Place some chips on a very dainty and pretty small china platte
  5. Add a tsp of refried beans
  6. add a Tbls of ground beef mixture
  7. Top with some tomato, green onions and black olives
  8. Drizzle a little queso or cheese sauce over the top
  9. Garnish is fresh cilantro
  10. Add your favorite additions such as sour cream and salsa or on the side in pretty dishes
